Udeco rents out subsea baskets, flying lead installation systems, mud mats and subsea bags from our base at Mekjarvik in Randaberg, about 10 km from Stavanger city centre. The equipment is our own design, built and maintained in our own workshop.
Our base has offices, a workshop with a 10 tonne crane and outdoor storage, 200 metres from the Mekjarvik deep-water quay. Equipment is ready for collection at our base (FCA). If you need transport, we can help arrange it.
Installation contractors on the Norwegian shelf have used our equipment on field developments and tie-backs, including recovery work at Utsira High and a power cable crossing at Halten East. Our flying lead baskets and mud mats have also gone from Mekjarvik to projects in the UK, Brazil, Mozambique, the Middle East, the Philippines and Australia.
